About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and validation of embedded real‑time flight software for space missions.
- Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Collaborate with systems, integration, and test teams to ensure seamless delivery of mission‑critical software.
- Implement Agile practices, manage backlogs, and drive sprint planning and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the software lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded real‑time software development, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real‑time operating systems.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
