Engineering Manager
Lead a cross‑functional engineering team to design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions using Python, Java, and AWS while driving Agile practices and continuous delivery pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
- Define technical strategy and architecture for backend services built with Python and Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Drive Agile processes, sprint planning, and delivery cadence to meet product milestones.
- Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS to enable rapid, automated deployments.
- Partner with product, design, and QA stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical plans.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a people‑management or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java, and hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, production‑grade systems using Agile methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
