About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI data ingestion, transformation, and storage, ensuring high quality and scalability.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, ML engineers, and DevOps specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Architect and maintain a cloud‑native data warehouse on AWS, leveraging services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lake Formation.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions to streamline data pipeline deployment and model training workflows.
- Collaborate closely with ML research and product teams to translate research prototypes into production‑ready data pipelines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS).
- Proven track record building and scaling data pipelines for machine learning workloads.
- Strong knowledge of containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
