Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on mission‑critical software for defense applications.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
- Drive Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement, to deliver high‑value features on schedule.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and maintain Secret clearance, overseeing secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a complex, regulated environment.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, Python, and C++ with a track record of delivering secure, scalable systems.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
