Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end AI solution delivery for virtual care, embedding with clinical teams to design, deploy, and scale production‑grade models on AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of AI projects—from problem framing and data strategy to model training, validation, and production deployment.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians, product managers, and data scientists to translate clinical needs into scalable, responsible AI solutions.
- Design and maintain robust, cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance metrics to ensure model reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Advise on best practices for data governance, model explainability, and ethical AI deployment in a regulated healthcare environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML production systems.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS), and container orchestration.
- Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.
