Software Engineer
Senior QA engineer responsible for designing, coding, and executing automated and manual test plans for end‑user applications, systems software, and firmware across local, networked, and Internet‑based platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive test plans and protocols for assigned code segments in applications, systems software, and firmware.
- Translate functional requirements into detailed test cases, steps, and expected results, including data matrices.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, and Selenium, integrating with CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
- Perform manual regression testing, identify defects, log issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
- Ensure all modifications are regression‑testable and delivered on schedule, maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA engineering experience in software and firmware testing.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG) and scripting languages (Python, Java).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
- Knowledge of hardware‑software integration testing is a plus.
