Software Engineer
Build scalable, high‑performance web and mobile platforms using JavaScript, React, and Node.js, while leveraging AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable text‑to‑speech experiences for millions of users.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform services (iOS, Android, Web, Chrome Extension) that convert text to speech at scale.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to implement new features and improve user experience.
- Write clean, testable TypeScript/JavaScript code and contribute to automated testing suites.
- Deploy and monitor services on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building web or mobile applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of React (or React Native) and Node.js ecosystems.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for accessibility and inclusive design.
