About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications on AWS infrastructure for high‑security defense programs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Confluence, JIRA, and Gitlab to deliver features on time and within scope.
- Implement data flow solutions with Apache NiFi, ensuring secure, reliable data ingestion and processing.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines to uphold quality standards.
- Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures for compliance and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Minimum 14 years of software engineering experience in complex, mission‑critical environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Hands‑on experience with Confluence, JIRA, Gitlab, and NiFi.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
