About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance mapping and localization algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
- Integrate SLAM pipelines with ROS to process real‑time sensor data and update road network models.
- Collaborate with data science and perception teams to refine map accuracy and vehicle calibration.
- Implement scalable data ingestion and storage solutions for large road network datasets.
- Optimize performance and reliability of mapping services in production environments.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with experience in ROS.
- Hands‑on experience with SLAM, GIS, and large‑scale mapping systems.
- Knowledge of autonomous vehicle perception and localization pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization is a plus.
