Software Engineer - MAGICAL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services that power AI agents automating healthcare workflows.
• Implement machine‑learning models and integrate them into production pipelines for tasks such as prior authorization and claims processing.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalability.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction between AI components, electronic health record systems, and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and healthcare domain experts to translate clinical requirements into robust software solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development and building production‑grade services.
• Strong understanding of machine‑learning concepts and experience integrating models into applications.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing REST APIs and working with relational databases such as SQL.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team focused on healthcare automation.
