About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain large‑scale data pipelines using Cloudera Hadoop, Spark/PySpark, and Neo4j.
- Lead a team of data engineers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Optimize query performance, resource utilization, and data quality across the data platform.
- Drive continuous improvement of data architecture, tooling, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in Hadoop ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Spark/PySpark, Neo4j, Python, Java, and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience designing and deploying production‑grade data pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
