About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier‑3 support for mission‑critical capital markets applications, diagnosing and resolving complex production incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce bugs, implement fixes, and validate releases in a Linux environment.
- Maintain and optimize database queries and data pipelines using SQL to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Apply domain knowledge of securitization and credit risk to interpret business‑impacting issues and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
- Document root‑cause analyses, support procedures, and knowledge‑base articles to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development or L3 support, preferably within the capital markets sector.
- Strong proficiency in Java development and SQL database management.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems and performance monitoring tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑layered issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Familiarity with securitization processes or credit risk concepts is a strong plus.
