About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core iOS features for Speechify’s text‑to‑speech engine, ensuring low latency and high audio quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable, testable Swift code.
- Integrate AVFoundation and Core Data for efficient audio playback, caching, and user preference management.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption across a wide range of iOS devices.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to uphold code quality and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of iOS development experience with a strong portfolio of production apps.
- Experience building text‑to‑speech or audio‑centric applications is highly desirable.
