About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain XTS test suites for Android releases to validate compliance with the Android Compatibility Definition Document (CDD) and Google Automotive Services (GAS) requirements.
- Analyze test results, identify failures, and collaborate with software component teams to drive root‑cause resolution and re‑testing.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks that streamline the certification workflow, reducing manual effort and improving test coverage.
- Generate clear, actionable reports on test execution outcomes, trends, and compliance status for stakeholders.
- Stay current with evolving Android releases, CDD updates, and GAS specifications to ensure ongoing platform compliance.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Android platform testing, including familiarity with CDD and GAS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) to build and maintain test suites.
- Solid understanding of test engineering principles, defect tracking, and continuous integration pipelines.
