Software Engineer
Software Engineer in Test responsible for designing, automating, and executing test cases for desktop, web, and mobile applications, ensuring high‑quality releases through robust test frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify requirements and define test strategies for desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Python.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests, log defects, and track them to resolution in Jira.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback on code changes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and provide test estimates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in Java or Python and strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and defect‑tracking tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
