About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance services in Python and Java that ingest, process, and serve multimodal health data.
- Build and optimize data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift) and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine‑learning models into production, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and security best practices for cloud‑native applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural reviews and code quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software development experience in a cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL with experience building data‑centric services.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Background in machine‑learning model deployment and data engineering pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.
