Mid‑level UI Engineer joining an agile team to design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces for commercial banking products, leveraging React, JavaScript, and modern web standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional UI components.
- Integrate front‑end features with RESTful services and ensure optimal performance and accessibility.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver incremental value in two‑week iterations.
- Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and maintain code quality using Git and CI pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience building web applications with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence).
