Software Engineer
Entry‑level software engineer focused on building data‑driven tools for private‑equity teams, leveraging Python, Java, SQL and cloud services to automate analysis, reporting, and workflow automation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that support private‑equity investment analysis and portfolio monitoring.
- Implement data pipelines and APIs to ingest, transform, and expose financial data from internal and external sources.
- Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, testable code in Python and Java, and ensure code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
- Deploy and manage services on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
