About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical services for investment underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
- Collaborate with underwriting, A&R, and data teams to translate business requirements into robust, production‑ready code.
- Implement and optimize machine‑learning models and valuation algorithms within a cloud environment.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption, ensuring high performance and security.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in a fintech or data‑heavy environment.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud services (AWS).
- Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) and model deployment.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
