Full-Stack Software Engineer to integrate high‑performance ML models on edge devices with a Google Cloud analytics backend, driving AI from lab to production.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement edge software that interfaces with ML models running on automotive hardware.
- Develop and maintain a robust, scalable Google Cloud backend for data ingestion, analytics, and model monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists to translate model outputs into actionable insights for vehicle systems.
- Ensure high reliability, low latency, and secure communication between edge devices and cloud services.
- Write clean, testable code in Python and JavaScript/Node.js, leveraging containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack development experience in a production environment.
- Strong background in edge computing, real‑time data processing, and ML model deployment.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, AI Platform).
- Hands‑on experience with Python, JavaScript, and Node.js, plus container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for bringing AI solutions to real‑world automotive applications.
