Software Engineer
Software Engineer building production‑grade data platform components, designing secure, scalable ingestion pipelines and metadata‑driven services in a CI/CD environment using Java/Scala, Kafka and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data ingestion pipelines from sources such as SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, APIs, and legacy manufacturing systems.
- Build and enhance production‑grade, metadata‑driven data handling components and inbound/outbound interfaces.
- Implement and operate robust APIs and services that expose data to downstream consumers.
- Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of production data interfaces, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate CI/CD practices, ensuring rapid, reliable deployments.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Java and/or Scala.
- Hands‑on experience with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in designing and operating cloud‑based solutions, preferably on AWS.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with enterprise data sources (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
