Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition - Sydney, Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our data infrastructure and acquisition team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines using Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based data infrastructure on Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain Dockerized applications and services.
• Work with data engineers to design and implement data acquisition and processing systems.
• Contribute to the development of new features and improvements to existing systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data infrastructure and acquisition.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Strong understanding of data processing and acquisition concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
