Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of PayPal’s cloud infrastructure, building resilient, automated pipelines and containerized services using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure cloud environments on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, ensuring reproducible, version-controlled deployments across multiple regions.
- Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters for microservices, managing scaling, rolling updates, and health monitoring.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate build, test, and release processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, cost, and reliability of production workloads.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles.
