Software Engineer
Backend intern developing high‑performance sensor data pipelines using Python and C++ on Linux, building RESTful microservices, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust wearable technology solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services that process real‑time electromyography data streams.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices in Python and C++ to expose sensor data to front‑end and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with embedded and firmware teams to integrate sensor interfaces and optimize data throughput.
- Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and ensure high code quality and performance.
- Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and monitor production systems.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with experience in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with REST API design, JSON, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a passion for working on cutting‑edge biosignal technology.
- Enrolled in a computer science or related engineering program; internship or co‑op experience preferred.
