Software Engineer
Intern Software Engineer role focused on developing revenue‑cycle solutions using Python, Java, and AWS. Collaborate on RESTful services, data pipelines, and cloud deployments while applying Agile practices to deliver high‑quality healthcare technology.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, coding, and testing microservices in Python and Java for healthcare revenue‑cycle applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring secure data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows on AWS.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and provide transparent progress updates.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in Computer Science or related field, with strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in Python or Java, and experience with SQL database design.
- Basic understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and cloud deployment concepts.
- Familiarity with REST API design principles and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
