About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines ingesting traffic, sensor, and camera feeds using Python and AWS services.
- Implement ETL workflows with Airflow, ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and deploy machine‑learning models that generate real‑time recommendations for bus network optimization and roadworks planning.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in data‑centric environments.
- Hands‑on experience with data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Prefect).
- Strong understanding of machine‑learning concepts and model deployment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
