Software Engineer
Develop AI‑assisted workflows for semiconductor engineering, building LLM‑driven agents, retrieval pipelines, and automation integrations with platform APIs and engineering data.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI assistant workflows that support engineering setup, troubleshooting, review, and knowledge retrieval.
- Integrate tool‑using agents with internal platform APIs, engineering datasets, documentation, and automation pipelines.
- Build robust knowledge‑ingestion pipelines to capture engineering practices, process rules, requirements, and reusable workflow patterns.
- Create and maintain evaluation datasets, test suites, and metrics to measure agent performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate real engineering problems into scalable AI solutions.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with modern AI/ML libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with Large Language Models, retrieval‑augmented generation, and building tool‑using agents.
- Proven ability to develop data ingestion pipelines and integrate with RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Experience in workflow automation, CI/CD, and testing of AI‑driven systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work with complex engineering data and documentation.
