Software Engineer
Develop and maintain the Agent Platform for an AI‑driven defense operating system, building real‑time, cloud‑enabled services using C++, Python and Linux.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize core components of the Agent Platform that ingest and process high‑volume sensor data in real time.
- Develop scalable cloud services on AWS to support data storage, analytics, and remote command & control.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate perception and decision‑making models into the platform.
- Write robust, maintainable code in C++ and Python, adhering to security and performance standards required for defense applications.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging across Linux‑based environments to ensure reliability and mission readiness.
Requirements
- Active or eligible security clearance for U.S. defense work.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in C++ and Python.
- Strong background in Linux system programming and real‑time data processing.
- Experience deploying and managing services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Familiarity with machine‑learning pipelines and integrating AI models into production systems.
