About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional team of software engineers focused on commerce features and services.
- Define and own the technical roadmap, ensuring scalable, reliable microservice architecture built with Java and Go.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate business goals into actionable engineering plans.
- Drive best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and performance monitoring on AWS infrastructure.
- Champion Agile processes, sprint planning, and continuous delivery to meet release cadence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java and Go.
- Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams delivering high‑traffic microservices.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and modern DevOps tooling.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and fostering a collaborative, data‑driven culture.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical decisions with business objectives.
