About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Java and Python services on AWS for federal clients.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, architecture, and deployment pipelines.
- Implement CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and infrastructure as code to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FedRAMP, FISMA) through code reviews and security audits.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java and Python.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in relational databases (SQL) and experience with NoSQL options.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a commitment to secure, maintainable code.
