QA Engineer
SDET responsible for ensuring high-quality web applications through manual and automated testing, creating test plans, scripting with Playwright, and managing defects in Jira.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing of web applications to validate functionality and performance.
- Design, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios aligned with product requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust automation scripts using Playwright or equivalent frameworks, ensuring repeatable and scalable test coverage.
- Identify, log, and track defects in Jira, collaborating closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to uncover edge‑case bugs and improve overall product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing of web applications.
- Strong proficiency with Playwright (or similar automation tools) and test automation best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
