About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship core features for a fully managed Oracle Database service on AWS.
- Implement infrastructure automation and tooling to provision, monitor, and scale database clusters.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of the service.
- Participate in on‑call rotation, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing frameworks, and continuous integration pipelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience in Java, C++, or Python.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database concepts and database administration.
- Experience building scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
