Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure software components that protect the hardware lifecycle of AWS data center infrastructure.
- Collaborate with hardware, network, and operations teams to integrate security controls into server, storage, and networking equipment.
- Implement automated tooling and monitoring to detect and remediate hardware security vulnerabilities across global data centers.
- Participate in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new hardware deployments and upgrades.
- Contribute to incident response and post‑mortem analysis for hardware‑related security events.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience in a large, distributed environment.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, security best practices, and infrastructure security concepts.
- Experience with hardware security principles, such as secure boot, firmware integrity, and hardware attestation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, C++).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
