About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput measurement services for audio and video ad campaigns across multiple Amazon advertising products.
- Implement scalable data pipelines and distributed processing solutions using AWS services and big‑data frameworks.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to translate business requirements into robust, production‑ready code.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of measurement workloads through profiling, refactoring, and architectural improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python and Java.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, Redshift) and big‑data processing (Spark, Hadoop).
- Proficiency in SQL and designing efficient data models for large‑scale analytics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, and a passion for building elegant, scalable solutions.
