Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data ingestion pipelines and API‑based services, modernizing data platforms and ensuring governance, SLAs, and lifecycle support for clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines and onboarding workflows using Java and Informatica ETL tools.
- Build API‑based data services that expose standardized data feeds to downstream analytics and reporting systems.
- Lead end‑to‑end intake processes: discovery, requirements analysis, source system profiling, and technical design.
- Ensure solutions meet defined SLAs, governance policies, and security requirements, including Public Trust clearance compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to modernize legacy data architectures and integrate new data sources into the enterprise platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java development and Informatica or similar ETL platforms.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data architecture, and API design.
- Experience with data governance, lifecycle management, and SLAs in a consulting environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and obtain Public Trust clearance as needed.
