CostFlex Systems, a healthcare software firm located in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Full-Time Software Developer to design, create, and maintain internal software programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and programming, paired with an analytical mindset and a strong work ethic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain internal applications that support healthcare cost analytics
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, data issues, and performance challenges
- Work across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and improve system functionality
- Respond to support requests and help ensure system reliability
- Must be present in the office 100% to physically and logistically work from our office in Mobile, AL every weekday.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Required Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related field
- 2+ years’ Software Development experience
- 2+ years’ .Net, SQL Server experience
- MS Access/VBA, VB6, and VB.Net a plus
- Solid understanding of database design, querying, and performance optimization
- Ability to debug issues and think critically about system behavior
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Healthcare experience a plus
