Software Engineer
We're looking for a Software Engineer focused on designing and building scalable technical solutions. This mid level role requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
About the role
Design and develop web applications meeting functional requirements and security standards.
Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and functional designs, participate in technical decision-making, and take ownership of assigned applications or module.
Build and maintain databases, develop APIs, and integrate applications with enterprise systems to support mission-critical operations.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security policies and coding standards.
Implement automation strategies to improve operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Create technical documentation, provide end-user training and support, and maintain knowledge base materials for deployed applications.
Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 5 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Additional Skills and Knowledge:
Demonstrated experience with back-end development using .Net Core C#, Java, and Blazor, and front-end development using HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Demonstrated experience with low-code platforms such as Mendix, OutSystems, or Microsoft Power Apps.
Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and implementing authentication/authorization.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems encompassing all levels of a full stack application.
Demonstrated experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent collaboration and verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines set up (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience with data processing pipeline development (e.g., Python, R, etc.).
A Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Developer (CSED) certification.
