Software Architect
Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable healthcare and payment platforms using the MERN stack and AWS cloud services, ensuring compliance with PHI regulations while driving architectural excellence and code quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end solutions for healthcare and payment services, defining data models, API contracts, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, security, and compliance teams to enforce PHI protection, GDPR, and PCI‑DSS standards.
- Review pull requests, conduct incident post‑mortems, and mentor engineering teams on best practices.
- Own the technical roadmap, evaluate new cloud services, and recommend architecture upgrades.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code while maintaining high test coverage and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of full‑stack development experience with MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
- Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation) and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and payment industry compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, able to defend architectural decisions to stakeholders.
- Hands‑on coding experience and a track record of delivering production‑grade systems.
