Lead the design and delivery of a scalable healthcare platform, architecting cloud‑native microservices, guiding a cross‑functional team, and ensuring high performance and security across web and mobile applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the overall system architecture for a cloud‑native healthcare platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead the implementation of microservices using Node.js/TypeScript, containerize with Docker, and orchestrate with Kubernetes on AWS.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach a team of developers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and continuous integration.
- Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and monitor application health.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and large‑scale system design.
- Proficiency with AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM) and container orchestration.
- Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
