SOC Security Analyst 2 - University of Miami

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events across the enterprise using SIEM platforms, identifying and escalating potential threats.
• Lead incident response efforts, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery activities for security incidents.
• Conduct advanced computer forensic investigations, data recovery, and electronic discovery to support legal and compliance requirements.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies to strengthen network and system defenses.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and improve security policies, procedures, and playbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of SOC experience with hands‑on incident response and threat hunting.
