Lead the design, development, and deployment of Snowflake-based data solutions, driving data integration, transformation, and performance optimization using SQL, Python, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Snowflake data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement ETL processes using SQL, Python, and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda) to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and data models.
- Optimize query performance, data storage, and cost through clustering, partitioning, and materialized views.
- Document architecture, data flows, and best practices; provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a data engineer with a focus on Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
