About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines on AWS for large‑scale DoD datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate operational requirements into robust, production‑ready AI solutions.
- Implement model training, hyper‑parameter tuning, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with DoD security standards.
- Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong focus on production deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Hands‑on experience with data engineering tools (Spark, Airflow) and database technologies.
- Deep understanding of model explainability, bias mitigation, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, mission‑critical environment.
