Lead Sitecore Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Sitecore solutions on Azure, leveraging .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL to deliver high‑performance web experiences for a large insurance platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop custom Sitecore modules, components, and workflows using .NET and C# to meet business requirements.
- Implement responsive front‑end solutions with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility.
- Integrate Sitecore with Azure services (App Service, Blob Storage, Azure SQL) and third‑party APIs for data exchange and authentication.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to maintain high code quality and site reliability.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA to deliver features on schedule and provide post‑deployment support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining Sitecore solutions in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Sitecore Experience Platform (XP/XPaaS).
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services, RESTful APIs, and SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery) and responsive design principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication in a remote team setting.
