About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end site selection and feasibility studies for data center projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize GIS and spatial analysis to evaluate site suitability, environmental impact, and infrastructure connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—engineering, procurement, finance—to develop cost‑effective, sustainable site plans.
- Engage stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to secure approvals and manage public relations.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, supporting data‑driven decision making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in site strategy or data center planning within a consulting or large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and project management tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and procurement processes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
