Site Reliability Engineer
Internship focused on building and maintaining scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure using Python, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and monitoring tools to support a global SaaS platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, deploying, and managing containerized services on Kubernetes clusters.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and monitoring tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and AWS services.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation.
- Help improve observability by configuring Prometheus, Grafana, and alerting systems.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or related program.
- Strong foundation in Python programming and basic Linux command line skills.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) concepts.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
