About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available AIX and Linux infrastructure for DNS and related services.
- Implement and manage automation scripts (Bash, Python) to streamline deployments and configuration management.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows using industry‑standard tools.
- Collaborate with security teams to harden systems, apply patches, and enforce compliance policies.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis for production incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in site reliability or system administration on AIX and Linux platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, with experience in automation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
