Software Engineer
Site Engineer responsible for overseeing civil construction projects, coordinating trades, managing schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards using AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and surveying techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on‑site activities for civil, mining, and infrastructure projects, ensuring work aligns with design specifications and project timelines.
- Prepare, update, and monitor construction schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, proactively identifying and mitigating delays.
- Produce and review technical drawings and shop drawings in AutoCAD, coordinating with design engineers and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site surveys, stake‑out, and as‑built measurements to verify alignment and grade requirements.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, performing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 2–5 years of site engineering experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling software).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, surveying techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team‑leadership abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
