Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and optimization of high‑performing Shopify Plus storefronts, collaborating with design, marketing, and e‑commerce teams to deliver scalable, user‑friendly digital experiences across multiple global brands.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS to meet brand and performance requirements.
- Integrate third‑party APIs and services (payment gateways, shipping, analytics) to extend storefront functionality.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement responsive, accessible UI/UX improvements.
- Optimize site speed, SEO, and conversion funnels through code review, asset minification, and performance tuning.
- Manage version control, staging, and production deployments, ensuring smooth releases and rollback procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Shopify development experience, including Shopify Plus projects.
- Proficient in Liquid templating, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/SCSS, and responsive design principles.
- Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integrations.
- Experience with performance optimization, SEO best practices, and A/B testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
