Shift Technician in Engineering Services responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in a commercial building environment, ensuring safety and operational excellence using building automation and PLC technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults using diagnostic tools, PLC programming, and building automation interfaces.
- Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and process improvements.
- Respond to on‑call requests and provide rapid field support during critical incidents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, HVAC, or electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with PLC and building automation platforms.
- Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA) and ability to enforce compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
