Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions, driving platform strategy, integrations, and best practices while mentoring a team and ensuring high‑quality, scalable services for a national fibre network.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the ServiceNow platform roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Architect, develop, and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs.
- Lead a team of developers and administrators, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Implement and enforce ITIL/ITSM best practices, ensuring robust incident, problem, change, and request management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (network, security, product) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that support the fibre network operations.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, automation, and adoption of Agile delivery methods.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow, including development of custom applications and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating ServiceNow with external systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, Agile project experience, and ability to mentor technical teams.
